Book clubs and other groups

Here's what one person reports about reading the book with a group with discussions centered around the study guide:
It's been GREAT so far! We are enjoying the book and the discussions we've had with it...the discussion guide takes us off in so many various areas - it's very interesting! Some of the group have finished the book long ago, and are re-reading it again as we go along...
As a "deliciously didactic" introduction to Paul, his letters, and the early church, the novel is proving to be popular with book clubs, adult forums, and Bible study groups. Colleges and camps are organizing retreats around discussion of the novel. A group study guide is available here for free download. The open-ended questions in the guide are designed to provoke discussion.
The best kind of book, in my opinion, is one that prompts you to think more, to pursue more knowledge. This book definitely incited that curiosity in me.
