It came in the mail today. I look forward to reading it. I like the maps so far.

I have read a few chapters in the book. It is obvious that a lot of research went into it.

Hi Obie, I see that Amazon has sold out of your book. I have read enough of it to see why. It is very readable. There will be some out there who will question the traditional sterotypes you break through and there may be some controversey. Good. That sells books and it makes people think.

As I am reading “A Wretched Man” I am reminded of a conversation I had the other day with a young attorney. He had studied in Virginia and while he was there became acquainted with a group of Messianic Jews and spent quite a little time with them. He was telling me that he was questioning his brother about why he was having ham for dinner on Easter because it is pork. (He wanted turkey.) I asked him if he was Jewish. He said “No, Christian, just Christian.” When I told him that my Reformed Jewish daughter in law eats ham, he was surprised.
We could really get another conflict going with that one couldn’t we if we Gentiles all were expected to follow the Torah. Is Lutefisk Kosher ?
Wow, good trailer.
